What is Junior Auxiliary?

Junior Auxiliary of Desoto County is all about serving the children of Desoto County! When we were founded in 2000, a group of 75 women came together to serve and be a vital part of the community. Their goal was to focus on children by providing charitable services to help strengthen our community…family by family, relationship by relationship.

Over twenty years later, we are able to provide thousands of volunteer hours in Desoto County each year - last year was almost 8000 hours and counting! We were able to work with children like Javier, who participated in art classes at the Magnolia School, and Paige, who received school clothes and a warm coat for the winter.

When you support Junior Auxiliary of Desoto County, you are helping to fill backpacks with school supplies, purchase warm winter coats and gloves, provide scholarship funds for college students, and teach girls about inner beauty and confidence. You help children learn how to keep themselves safe online, receive birthday and Christmas presents, and raise funds for a child battling a chronic illness.
